We chose the National Cancer Coalition as our philanthropy beneficiary for many reasons:
National Cancer Coalition's (NCC) mission is to reduce the suffering of cancer patients and their families by meeting their unfulfilled needs. NCC provides medical and financial relief, research and educational programs throughout the world in an effort to improve the cancer patient's quality of life. Founded in 1993, The NCC is seeking to improve survivability rates throughout the world by providing relief and by increasing understanding and participation in early detection, prevention, and cancer treatment programs. In order to help find tomorrows cures, we fund a number of innovative pediatric oncology researchers and institutes in the United States.
